International outreach: Surgical mission in Peru

Since 2012, our team has completed 16 surgical mission trips to Peru, delivering advanced cardiovascular care to patients without access to such resources. Throughout these missions, our physicians have:

  • Performed 210 open-heart surgeries with a remarkably low 0.4% mortality rate
  • Completed 12 TAVR procedures with zero mortality
  • Executed nearly 30 complex PCIs, all with excellent outcomes
