The Heart Hospital Production Studio
Launched in February 2024, our new production studio allows us to share our heart team’s passion and innovation in cardiovascular care.
A successful first year
The studio, located in a converted office space, features professional soundproofing and state-of-the-art production equipment. Our physician leadership hosts video interviews with the media and clinicians leading sessions at conferences across our area. It is also home to our new Heart Talk podcast, which launched in May and features physicians from across The Heart Hospital discussing innovations in cardiovascular care.
Heart Talk podcast
David L. Brown, MD, founder of Baylor Scott & White Heart – Plano, launched the Heart Talk podcast to highlight new advancements, groundbreaking research and practical insights in cardiology and heart surgery.
Using his wealth of experience, he hosts in-depth discussions, available on Spotify and YouTube, that give patients and physicians insight into the complexities of cardiovascular care. He also uses the podcast to share his knowledge of hospital leadership, management and organizational growth in the healthcare industry.
Featured discussions
Since opening, we have hosted many engaging discussions with physicians presenting at local conferences hosted by Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospitals. We also use the production studio to promote our Fellows Boot Camp 2024.
We aim to use the studio to continue our medical education efforts and showcase the expertise and unique perspectives of physicians and researchers across our enterprise.
