Our community not only respects our leaders but has also invited them to deliver podium presentations at national and state conferences.
Our programs have grown significantly throughout the years. Nationally certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR), our programs are essential to the physical recovery of patients who have undergone a cardiovascular procedure or been diagnosed with pulmonary disease. These programs also help restore emotional well-being. It’s one of many reasons patients continue in our maintenance program after their prescribed rehabilitation as a bridge to a regular exercise program in the community.

Two Baylor Scott & White The Heart Hospital rehabilitation specialists presented to the Clinical Exercise Physiology Association in January 2025.
Cardiac rehab leadership also hold positions on the AACVPR Program Certification Committee (chair) and the Texas Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation state association (board member).
